The mode of study at SFU is full time on campus or part-time online.

4. Vancouver Island University

Formerly known as Malaspina University-College, VIU is a public university established in 1969. It plays an essential role in the educational, cultural, and economic life of people in the region. The University's main campus is located in Nanaimo with three other regional campuses.

VIU offers masters and bachelors degrees in business, education, tourism and hospitality, science and technology, and social science.

5. Capilano University

CapU is a teaching-focused public university based in North Vancouver and is situated in a natural forested area of the North Shore Mountains. The University celebrated its 50th anniversary in 2018. CapU alumni consist, educators, executives, and leaders in all fields. CapU is famous for its small class size and over 250 scholarships.

6. Columbia College

It's a privately owned two-year university transfer college administrated by Columbia College Society. The college hosts students from more than 61 countries. 7. Langara College

8. Vancouver Community College

It's a public community college that was founded in 1965. It is one of Vancouver's largest and oldest community colleges, offering more than 140 certificates and diplomas programs. The college hosts more than 26,000 students from various students, and more than 8 per cent of the students are international.
