CELPIP EXAM PATTERN
The Canadian English Language Proficiency Index Program (CELPIP) is accepted by the Canadian government for immigration purposes. The language proficiency test is also accepted by various educational institutions in Canada. It is conducted by Paragon Testing Enterprises, a subsidiary of the University of British Columbia (UBC). The CELPIP exam comes in two versions: CELPIP-General and CELPIP-General LS.
Candidates who need to demonstrate their English language proficiency for immigration or permanent residency purposes can take the CELPIP Exam. The CELPIP General test evaluates candidates' reading, writing, speaking, and listening abilities; in contrast, the CELPIP General LS test only evaluates candidates' speaking and listening abilities. The test results are recognized by Canadian citizenship and immigration authorities.
The table below provides a tabular representation of the CELPIP Exam pattern.
