• Are there good work opportunities in your home country?
Speaking Questions on Work
• What is your work profile?
• What are your basic taste?
• Are you working in your dream industry? If no, then why?
• What do you usually do when you finish your work?
• Is there anything you don’t like about your job?

IELTS Speaking Part 2 Questions
Describe an interesting TV programme you watched about a science topic.
You should say:
• What science topic this TV programme was about
• When you saw this TV programme
• What you learnt from this TV programme about a science topic and explain why you found this TV programme interesting.
[Instruction: You will have to talk about the topic for one to two minutes. You have one minute to think about what you are going to say. You can make some notes to help yourself if you wish.]
Describe a person whom you follow on social media.
You should say:
• Who this person is
• How you know this person
• What this person posts on social media and explain why you follow him/her on social media.

How to Score IELTS Speaking Questions
Speaking ability is rated on a scale from 0-9, with 9 being the highest. To increase your chances of receiving this excellent score you should familiarize yourself not just with how IELTS examiners evaluate speaking but also keep all the considerations in mind when giving out grades in each band range (0–6).
• Pronunciation – You need the ability to correctly enunciate words and convey your views through rhythm, emphasis, and intonation.
• Lexical Resource– You need to speak in a topic-appropriate manner and maintain clarity even when you are missing a single word or phrase.
• Grammatical Range and Accuracy – If you utilize appropriate pronouns and verb tenses, you may construct sentences with many clauses.
• Fluency and Coherence –You are required to communicate clearly and comfortably (without awkward pauses or unclear transitions between thoughts).
