AUT International Scholarships - Business - V3 2025 Intake Eligibility Criteria Amount and Type of Award Tenure Important Information
Auckland University of Technology (AUT) provides scholarships to recognise and support high achieving international students as they begin their journey in becoming great graduates of AUT.
  • Applicants must be new full-fee paying international students. See additional notes.
  • Applicants must have a current and valid unconditional offer to study the following AUT programme commencing in Intake V3, 2025 (28 October 2025):
    • Master of Applied Finance
    • Master of Business Management
    • Master of Marketing
    • Master of Professional Accounting
    • Master of Supply Chain Management
  • Applicants cannot be previous AUT students. This includes those who are applying for a higher-level programme (e.g., an AUT postgraduate diploma graduate applying for a master's programme).
  • Students who have already commenced studies at AUT are not eligible to apply.
NZ$7000 contribution to fees. The scholarship is awarded for one year only on programme commencement.
  • Eligible programmes are master’s degree level and 180 points in duration. Refer to the appendix in Regulations for a list of eligible programmes.
  • International students are not citizens, permanent residents nor resident visa holders of New Zealand or Australia.
  • AUT is not obliged to make an award if there is no candidate of sufficient merit.
  • The regulations are periodically reviewed by the University Scholarships Committee and are subject to change.

The AUT International Scholarships – South Asia, Southeast Asia, North Asia - Semester 2, 2025 Intake recognise and support high-achieving international students as they begin their journey towards becoming great graduates of AUT.

These scholarships are for international students from:

  • South Asia: Afghanistan, India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Bhutan, Maldives. More information
  • Southeast Asia: Brunei Darussalam, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos PDR, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam. More information.
  • North Asia: China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Japan, Mongolia, Democratic People’s Republic of Korea, Republic of Korea. More information.

The AUT International Scholarships – Semester 2, 2025 intake are available to support high-achieving international students as they begin their study in eligible programmes in the following faculties and schools.

 

  • AUT Business School: For Diploma in Business or Bachelor of Business programmes. More information
  • Faculty of Culture and Society: For specific undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. More information
  • Faculty of Design and Creative Technologies: For undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. More information
