Choose a Course and University
First, students must choose their desired course and university to pursue the same. Australia has a lot of prestigious universities which provide a variety of higher education courses. Students can choose the university based on the programs it provides, program fees, facilities etc.Admission Requirements
Although the admission requirements depend on the university and course students are applying for, below is a list of some common admission requirements applicants must meet to apply to an Australian university:- English Language Proficiency: Every International student must prove their English proficiency by taking an official English test. Some most commonly accepted tests are IELTS, TOEFL, PTE Academic, and CAE. The minimum score varies according to university but on average, one must score 6.0 or higher.
- Academic Qualification: The academic requirements vary from university to university, but many universities require students to have completed their secondary education with a minimum of 65% CGPA.
- Personal Statement: Many universities in Australia require candidates to show a personal statement. Many times people confuse personal statements with SOP, however, both are different. A personal statement is a document in which students have to explain why they want to study at a specific university and why they are fit for the chosen program.
- Letters of Recommendation: A letter of recommendation is an important part of the application process. Students must show Letters of recommendation from their previous employers or professors, including their qualities, academic abilities and motivation.
- Other documents: Some universities may also require international students to submit other documents such as:
• Proof of financial support
• Health Insurance Proof
• Police Clearance Certificate

Accept Offer Letter
When students stand eligible for all the admission requirements, they will receive an offer letter and an acceptance form from the university. One must check the offer letter carefully and read the conditions that apply. One must meet the requirements before the university can issue a Confirmation of Enrolment (CoE). Also, one may be required to pay tuition fees.
