The Master of Applied Health Sciences (Wellness and Rehabilitation) is aimed at wellness and rehabilitation practitioners and recent graduates (in fields such as chiropractic, health sciences, massage therapy, medicine, naturopathy, nursing, occupational therapy, osteopathy, physiotherapy, sport and exercise) who want to undertake an advanced programme of study in order to prepare for further study or to assist with obtaining a more senior position.

You will learn to extend your capability in critical and professional/clinical reasoning for specialist practice, leadership, and management in professional settings.

    Academic Requirement

    • Minimum Level of Education Required: To be accepted into this program, applicants must have a Bachelor's degree or graduate diploma in a relevant field (such as chiropractic, health sciences, massage therapy, medicine, naturopathy, nursing, occupational therapy, osteopathy, physiotherapy, sport and exercise) with at least a 70-74% average at Level 7.

    Scholarship places are limited and apparent eligibility may not result in receipt of a scholarship. All scholarships require acceptance into the programme of study and will be identified on any offer of place issued by SIT.


    Applicants wishing to be considered for a scholarship must include a statement of not more than 250 words outlining why they are a good candidate and should be considered for a scholarship.
