Foundation Studies Program Accelerated
Our Foundation Studies Program provides you with a pathway to follow your dreams of studying business, IT, engineering, medicine, nursing and much more at the University of Adelaide. If your qualifications need a boost, we are here for you!

Program Benefits

  • For students studying in Adelaide, once you achieve your required progression score, you are guaranteed entry to your packaged degree, and, for most bachelor’s degrees, you won’t need to provide any further English language evidence.
  • For students studying in Melbourne, after completing your Foundation Studies Program, you will continue your pathway studies as a University of Adelaide College student undertaking a Degree Transfer Program.
  • We will ensure that you understand all the additional entry requirements for dentistry, oral health, medicine, nursing, physiotherapy, occupational therapy, speech pathology and veterinary science.
  • The University will issue you a packaged Confirmation of Enrolment for the entire duration of study at the College and the University.
  • You will be flexible in studying a standard (34 teaching weeks) or accelerated (31 teaching weeks) Foundation Studies Program. In addition to weekly class attendance, students are also expected to complete 20-25 hours per week of independent learning.

A Bachelor of Arts lets you dive into higher learning with flexibility and freedom. We support your interests in the broad and vital study of history, society, culture and creativity.

What will you do?
Based on North Terrace, you’ll study in the centre of Adelaide’s cultural hub, surrounded by iconic establishments and festivals. You will:

  • Experience a modern learning program taught with a global perspective

  • Build a suite of skills in critical thinking, communication, and research
  • Form strong networks with your peers and teachers
  • Develop professional connections in government, business and the community sector through internships

Discover the issues that face current and future generations of Australians. As a politics and international relations student at The University of Adelaide, you will explore Australian and global politics, and our relationships with other nations. Study a diverse range of topics including political theory, domestic politics, international relations and the rising powers of China and India.

As a politics and international relations student you will:

  • Learn about political systems around the world and the challenges confronting them
  • Explore the relationship between national politics and global issues
  • Research the rise and fall of powers across the globe in countries such as China, India and the United States
  • Debate contemporary political issues
  • Examine issues of global justice, inequality and power
  • Analyse national challenges and devise ways to develop and enhance public policy.

    The University of Adelaide College International Scholarship 2021-2025
    The 2021-2025 University of Adelaide College International Scholarship rewards the international graduates of the University of Adelaide College. The scholarship offers a 10% tuition fee reduction for the minimum standard full-time duration of the scholar’s chosen undergraduate or postgraduate degree.
