Things to do in Vancouver for International Students .webp
Vancouver is one of the most picturesque places in the world. It is known for its immaculate beaches and lush forests. Let us now delve into what an international student can do in Vancouver to unwind and enjoy. This blog will list the places for international students to visit while studying in Vancouver.

1.Granville Island  It was once an industrial manufacturing area, and it has become a hotspot for tourism and entertainment. It consists of a public market focusing on artisan vendors, which provide visitors with exciting crafts and unique items. It is also known for the farmers market, which is usually open from June to September and offers vegetables, ciders, flowers, seafood  all in one place. You will also see beautiful studios and galleries filled with plenty of artists. The seawall provides the most scenic walks that Vancouver has to offer. They have many performing art theatres in the evenings, and it has Vancouvers only professional improvisational theatre company!

2.Stanley Park  It consists of a 27 km trail through the rainforest, an incomparable seawall, sports facilities, a swimming pool, diverse wildlife, sandy beaches, and many options to eat. Each corner of this park rewards you with a beautiful view of the city and the Pacific Ocean. Away from the noise or traffic, you will get to witness wildlife around Beaver Lake. While studying in Vancouver, students can come here to have a picnic or relax with their friends.

3.Whytecliff Park  Opened in 1909, it is home to more than 200 marine animal species. It is the first Marine Protected area in Canada where you are most likely to catch a glimpse of Sea Lions sunbathing on the beach during summer. Students studying in Vancouver can go with their friends for a barbeque, Underwater diving, swimming, hiking, etc.

4.Bloedel Conservatory  Winds gushing through the leaves, birds singing melodiously, the gentle sound of a waterfall, pleasant fragrance of flowers  this Conservatory has it all! This location is known to have a healing effect on our senses. The best part is that the admission fee of the Bloedel Conservatory isnt that much, thereby making it accessible amongst students who are studying in Vancouver

5.The Canucks  It is suitable for students to get out once in a while and immerse themselves in real-world events. Students go to Canucks hockey games to relax and have fun after working hard at their respective universities. Some brotherly rivalry amongst the students concerning the team makes this experience incredibly exciting. It is worth going for these games, and who knows, as you might end up becoming a fan!

6.Spanish Banks  The Spanish Bank beaches are divided into three sections: Spanish Bank West, Spanish Bank Extension, and Spanish Bank East. These locations are perfect for a group gathering. They are known for their endless low tides, beautiful views of the English bay, and the local mountains. Behind the beach are open fields popular for group picnics, events, and cookouts.
