University of New Brunswick - Fredericton Campus Overview

Canada’s oldest English University, the University of New Brunswick was founded in 1785. Firmly believing in the fact that innovation is the path to success, the university offers the students with amazing opportunities in the field of research and technology to spur discovery and higher knowledge. Taking education out of the education halls, the university offers its students with hands-on research, co-op programs and work terms, making it the nation’s most entrepreneurial university, as per Startup Canada.

New Brunswick has two campuses, Fredericton and Saint John. Saint John is situated on the Bay of Fundy, known for its highest tides and as a mariner wonder of the world. So besides studying, a student gets to explore the uptown area, community centers, social clubs, festivals, sports events and concerts, to name a few.

With a student crowd of over 10,000 people from 100 countries, the university is a cultural and a racial mix, giving the students a global experience, preparing them for a global future, a future that requires the students to think critically, innovatively and resourcefully and also helping them launch their businesses and companies.
