Exetended Scholarship For Sep 2026 Intake

Undergraduate Global Excellence Scholarship is £ 3,000

Weve extended the deadline for our £4,000 Excellence Scholarship until 31st July, giving you more time to take advantage of this opportunity.

In addition, we’ve launched a new £2,000 Vice-Chancellor’s Global Achievers Award, as we welcome Professor Phillip Wright as Acting Vice-Chancellor.

This means you now have the opportunity to secure up to £6,000 in guaranteed scholarships.”

Eligibility & Conditions (Clear + Positive Framing)

    • To be eligible for the £2,000 Vice-Chancellor’s Global Achievers Award, you’ll need to pay your £2,000 tuition fee deposit by 30th June. If you’re eligible for another Southampton-funded scholarship, you could even receive additional funding:

For example, Business School students may qualify for:

    • £9,000 Dean’s Scholarship → plus £2,000 (50% Excellence) + £2,000 VC Award = £13,000 total
    • £5,000 Merit Scholarship → plus £2,000 (50% Excellence) + £2,000 VC Award = £9,000 total

The good news is that this deposit is not an extra cost—it’s fully deducted from your tuition fees, along with your scholarship.”
If you need more time to pay the deposit, we may be able, in exceptional circumstances, agree to a late extension, but to guarantee at least £6000, we advise you to make the deposit as soon as possible and by the 30th of June.
