There is growing need for qualified ecologists and conservationists to tackle some of the most pressing issues of our time, namely climate change and the biodiversity crisis. This course will interest graduates and professionals with an interest in issues around ecology and conservation.
You focus on the latest thinking, methodology, and practices ecology and conservation, guided by the research expertise of the teaching team, giving you a synthetical overview of the relevant societal issues and extreme depth of knowledge with world-leading expertise key areas within ecology and conservation. This includes areas such as nature-based solutions to addressing climate change and the biodiversity crisis, the latest molecular tools to identify invasive or endangered organisms, key analytical chemistry agency to detect pollution, as well as an understanding.
Our research-led teaching is underpinned by a growing publication record, as well as work partners in the ecology and conservation sector ensuring the course content is topical, relevant and real world.
As part of your studies you undertake a major research project aligned to a range of real world research activities, exposing you to more realistic practices of research and developing more impactful research projects.
