Program Overview
Today, society is surrounded and influenced by a wealth of photography like never before. We see it as our task to give students an understanding of the visual and technical skills necessary to understand, critically question and reflect on different visual languages. Understanding the medium of photography and its conscious use is therefore indispensable not only in art but also in advertising and editorial work.
During your BA Photography studies, you’ll familiarise yourself with and try out various photographic genres, such as portrait, fashion, art and documentary.
We nurture students’ unique photographic vision and independence, promoting experimentation and social responsibility. Our programme offers diverse photography genres and interdisciplinary electives, supporting various projects. With small class sizes and personalised attention, we help students discover their strengths and distinctive style. Taught by industry-renowned photographers, our programme opens doors to careers in image editing, freelancing, and advertising. In today’s competitive landscape, creativity and soft skills are crucial alongside technical proficiency.
