By combining advanced creative and technical skills with highly developed business knowledge, you can take your creative practice to the next level.  

The mixture of business and creative arts majors will enhance your employability in your chosen profession, whether it be combining advertising or marketing with music or dance to promote yourself as an artist, or integrating contemporary art with entrepreneurship or management to start your own gallery or manage a community project. You could choose animation or film and screen, with international business if your dream is to work in these fields overseas. There is so many opportunities through this double degree to combine your passions to shape your desired future.  

 

Bachelor of Business

Through business core units, develop the business skills to be able to think creatively and critically, communicate professionally, make ethical business decisions and work in a global context.  Your major units will deepen your knowledge and experience, equipping you as a professional in your chosen discipline.

As part of our work integrated learning (WIL) program, you'll also have the opportunity to work on real-world projects, engage with industry professionals and complete professional work placements.

You will engage in common subjects in your creative art degree that will provide you with skills in essential areas of communication, collaboration and professional awareness to ensure you’ll be prepared for a highly professional and entrepreneurial approach to your creative arts career.  

You will develop your craft by choosing one major, and you will also choose one creative arts elective unit from any creative area or a work integrated learning unit to compliment your studies.  

You will build your creative practice in one of the creative arts majors:

  • Animation
  • Creative writing
  • Drama
  • Film and screen
  • Music
  • Visual arts.
