Foundation Studies Program in Science
Foundation Studies Program in Science is a university entry program designed for international students who have completed a minimum of year 11 or its equivalent. Science programs combine advanced academic knowledge with practical real-life training.
 

Articulation to Western Sydney University

Students must:

  • Complete all the units within their chosen sequence
  • Pass Introduction to Academic Communication 2 with a minimum C grade
  • Achieve a minimum GPA. Please check your Letter of Offer for articulations details

Meeting these criteria will qualify students for entry into the first year of:

Bachelor of Health Science (Sport and Exercise Science)

In this program, you will learn how to work with people from a range of fitness levels and ages. This includes high-performance through general health and fitness, rehabilitation and management of chronic disease through exercise. Areas of study you can choose from include biometrics, exercise physiology, exercise prescription, motor control and sports psychology. This program will also give you the professional skills you need to deliver high-quality care, with 140 hours of work placements. Gain hands on experience in our dedicated exercise and sport science labs. When you graduate, you can choose from a range of career options in health and fitness centres, working in government agencies associated with sport, in teaching and research, as well as professional sporting groups, rehabilitation clinics and hospitals.
