Foundation Program
 

Designed specifically for international students, the UWA Foundation program will help students improve their subject knowledge and English language skills. Students can progress to Year 1 of any undergraduate degree at The University of Western Australia (UWA) upon successful completion to the required level.

 

Leading to: Bachelor of Environmental Science / Bachelor of Arts
 

Pursue your passions and maximise your career opportunities with our combined bachelor's degree in Environmental Science and Arts. You'll graduate with two degrees in just four years, a Bachelor of Environmental Science where you will take a defined study plan and a Bachelor of Arts where you'll choose a major from a wide range of options.

 

Major: Indonesian Studies

This major enables you to achieve a high level of fluency in the language of Australia’s closest neighbour and the world’s fourth-largest country. As well as learning how to speak, read and write Indonesian, you’ll study Indonesia’s vibrant culture, ethnically diverse society and never-dull politics, graduating with skills and attributes in demand by employers in both the public and private sectors.

General Admission Requirement

    Academic Requirement

    Minimum Level of Education Required: To be accepted for this program, students must have one of the following:

    • Completion of Senior School Certificate Examination Year 12 from Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) with an average 45% in four academic subjects and a passing grade in mathematics equivalent to Australian Year 10 High School
    • Completion of Year 12 from state boards with an average 50% in four academic subjects and a passing grade in mathematics equivalent to Australian Year 10 High School
    • Completion of Year 11 in CBSE and CISCE Boards with an overall average of 80% in academic subjects and a passing grade in mathematics equivalent to Australian Year 10 High School
    • Completion of Indian School Certificate Year 12 from Council for Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) with an average 45% in four academic subjects and a passing grade in mathematics equivalent to Australian Year 10 High School
