Foundation Program

Designed specifically for international students, the UWA Foundation program will help students improve their subject knowledge and English language skills. Students can progress to Year 1 of any undergraduate degree at The University of Western Australia (UWA) upon successful completion to the required level.

Leading to: Bachelor of Agribusiness/Bachelor of Science (Dual Degree)

In a competitive employment market, you will maximise your career options by developing strong agribusiness skills and gaining knowledge in a scientific discipline. You will graduate with two qualifications, having cut two years off the time it takes you to study two degrees. If you decide either degree isn’t right for you, you can exit one and complete the other.

Bachelor of Agribusiness

The Bachelor of Agribusiness prepares you for employment in areas related to agriculture, including finance, marketing, policy formation, business management and rural development. Learn the business and economics skills needed to assume managerial and leadership roles. As part of the degree, take 12 core units with the opportunity to take electives to pursue your interests.

Extended Major: Agribusiness and Agricultural Science

The global population is increasing, and with it comes the need for a profitable and economically viable agribusiness sector to meet the food and fibre demand of humanity. This extended major will combine practical business skills with your interests in agriculture to tackle the global challenge of creating a sustainable food future.

Bachelor of Science

Major: Marine Biology

Marine biology is the study of marine organisms, and their behaviours and interactions with the environment. If you’re fascinated by our amazing marine life and the coastal environments in which they live, then this major is for you. With complex issues such as climate change, growing populations, food production and depleting natural resources, the need for marine science professionals continues to grow.
