    Ans:
    We offer following 3 scholarships, out of which two are purely academic merit based scholarships and are offered by default if the student is meeting the requirements:

    Deakin India Merit Scholarship of 25% -

    • For PG applicants: Applicant should have scored 75% or above in Bachelor degree
    • For UG applicants: Applicant should have scored above 80% in year 12

    Deakin India Marit Scholarship of 20% -

    • For PG applicants – 60% and above in Bachelor degree from any section university
    • For UG applicants- 70% and above in year 12 from any board in India

    Vice Chancellor’s Meritorious Scholarship (This scholarship is only offered in July intake every year) – There are limited places for this scholarship and selection is done through various interviews after students are meeting the entry requirements for this scholarship. Students should have 80% and above in Bachelor degree and 85% and above in year 12 along with strong co-curricular activities with supporting documents in the recent 3 years.

     



    Deakin College Foundation Pathway Scholarship

    Students who complete the Deakin College Foundation program and enrol directly into a Deakin University degree will be eligible for the new Deakin College Foundation Pathway Scholarship.
     

    Important dates Benefits
    Commencing T1 2025 until December 2027 10% off the Bachelor degree tuition fees if the graduating Foundation student achieves a grade between 60-65%
    15% off the Bachelor degree tuition fees if the graduating Foundation student achieves a grade of 65%+
    Eligibility criteria
    The bursary is open to all international students. The bursary can not be held in conjunction with any other Deakin scholarship.


    Scholarships and Bursaries

    Deakin University offers a wide range of scholarships and bursaries to assist students from India to support their tuition fees for on-shore studies in Australia.

    Deakin University offers a bursary of 20% and a scholarship of 25% based on academic merit as outlined in the table below. They are offered upon the total indicative tuition fee stated on your offer letter, available for the normal duration of the course.
