University of Prince Edward Island (UPEI) Scholarships

Entrance Scholarship – September 2026 Intake

The University of Prince Edward Island (UPEI) is pleased to offer Entrance Scholarships ranging from CAD $1,000 to CAD $1,500 for eligible international students commencing their studies in the September 2026 intake.

Eligibility Criteria
To be considered for this scholarship, students must:

Be a high school graduate completing Grade 12 in 2026.
Have received admission to a program for the September 2026 intake.
Have paid the required tuition deposit.
Have obtained a Provincial Attestation Letter (PAL).
Demonstrate strong academic performance with an average of 85% or higher across five Grade 12 academic subjects.
Show a genuine commitment and intention to enroll and study at UPEI.

Scholarship Award
Eligible students may receive a scholarship valued between CAD $1,000 and CAD $1,500, subject to institutional review and approval.

Disbursement
Scholarship funds will be credited directly to the student's account and applied during the September 2026 semester after classes have commenced.
