University of Guelph-Humber Overview

Created in 2002 as a result of an academic collaboration between the University of Guelph and Humber College, University of Guelph-Humber (UofGH) is located on Humber College's North Campus in the Etobicoke district of Toronto, Ontario. The programs available at UofGH are specially designed for the students and draw from the expertise and knowledge of both renowned institutions. University of Guelph-Humber offers seven undergraduate programs, with a student population of almost 5,000. 

Students at University of Guelph-Humber offers its students earn a university honors degree as well as a college diploma at the same time and that makes UofGH a one of kind academic institution in Canada that offers such innovative post-secondary education. UofGH has an average class size of around 49-50 that makes it easier for students to interact with the faculty, individual attention on every student as well as much larger class participation. 

Students are provided the facility of work study programs as well as co-op education program owing to which every student completes hundreds of work placement hours and also have the opportunity of participating in international study programs that makes future prospects better for them. UofGH has designed its programs with an integration of theory and practical hands on experiences. Workplace experiences are provided to students from the beginning of their program in order to make them better equipped with the challenges of the professional world.

University of Guelph-Humber Admission Requirement

The following requirements must be fulfilled to get admitted to the University of Guelph-Humber

  • International students are considered on case-by-case basis. There can be some additional requirements, depending on the program you are applying to.
  • Students are required to submit their original transcripts from their last attended academic institutions. If they are not in English, then submit the translated copies of the same along with the originals.
  • Should provide the certificate issued by the International Qualifications Assessment Service (IQAS) that compares educational credentials from other countries to educational standards in Canada.
  • Applicants must be 18 years old at the time of the beginning of the course.
  • You need to submit your English language proficiency test scores if you are coming from a non-English speaking country.

Please note:- If you are not a Canadian citizen or a permanent resident of Canada, you must obtain a valid study permit before you come to Canada.
