Saskatchewan Polytechnic - Regina Campus Overview

A member of Polytechnics Canada, an association of 11 research-intensive, industry-responsive post-secondary institutions and the only polytechnic institute in Saskatchewan, Saskatchewan Polytechnic is a post-secondary institution focusing intensively on research.

The college has four campuses, Saskatoon, Regina, Prince Albert and Moose Jaw and provides over 150 degrees, diploma and certificate programs to more than 28,000 students from Canada as well as various parts of the world. The ten schools of the institution are classed basically on two ideas, public sector schools that work towards the economy and the society and the economic sector schools that work towards business and industries.

The college provides the students with countless learning opportunities, and the small size of the classrooms assures personalized one-to-one attention from the tutors. The curriculum is designed keeping in mind the needs of the industry and the courses have the correct balance of practical and theory which not only leads to better job placements but also employer satisfaction.

Saskatchewan Polytechnic - Regina Campus Admission Requirement

The following requirements must be fulfilled to get admitted to Saskatchewan Polytechnic

  • International students are considered on case-by-case basis. There can be some additional requirements, depending on the program you are applying to.
  • Students are required to submit their original transcripts from their last attended academic institutions. If they are not in English, then submit the translated copies of the same along with the originals.
  • Should provide the certificate issued by the International Qualifications Assessment Service (IQAS) that compares educational credentials from other countries to educational standards in Canada.
  • Applicants must be 18 years old at the time of the beginning of the course.
  • You need to submit your English language proficiency test scores if you are coming from a non-English speaking country.

Please note: If you are not a Canadian citizen or a permanent resident of Canada, you must obtain a valid study permit before you come to Canada.
