Red River College is the largest institute of applied learning in Manitoba with over 200 part-time and full-time programs offered to over 22,000 students. The college has eight campuses in Manitoba, provides the students with state-of-the-art facilitates and has a graduate employment rate of over 95%.
With a goal to provide the highest quality and best education to its national and international students, the curriculum of the college is designed with professionals keeping in mind the current standards of the industries so that the students get adequate professional work experience and are readily employable on the completion of their courses.

The following requirements must be fulfilled to get admitted to Red River College Polytechnic
- International students are considered on case-by-case basis. There can be some additional requirements, depending on the program you are applying to.
- Students are required to submit their original transcripts from their last attended academic institutions. If they are not in English, then submit the translated copies of the same along with the originals.
- Should provide the certificate issued by the International Qualifications Assessment Service (IQAS) that compares educational credentials from other countries to educational standards in Canada.
- Applicants must be 18 years old at the time of the beginning of the course.
- You need to submit your English language proaficiency test scores if you are coming from a non-English speaking country.
Please note: If you are not a Canadian citizen or a permanent resident of Canada, you must obtain a valid study permit before you come to Canada.

Throughout the academic year, Red River College assists students by administering awards, bursaries and scholarships that have been donated by concerned corporations, community organizations and individuals. These awards cover the specific requests of the donors and are intended to assist students who have shown outstanding abilities in academic or vocational areas and/or are in need of financial assistance.
Definition of Terms
- An Award usually involves multiple criteria such as academic achievement, demonstrated financial need, and school or community involvement.
- A Bursary is usually given to a recipient based on demonstrated financial need and satisfactory academic progress.
- A Scholarship is given to a recipient primarily based upon academic achievement.
- Entrance Awards may require an application and may be awarded to recipients prior to their starting a program.
- General Awards are available to current RRC students through most academic programs based upon specific award criteria.
