College of New Caledonia - Prince George Overview

Located in northern British Columbia, The College of New Caledonia was founded in 1969 and has campuses in Mackenzie, Vanderhoof, Fort St. James, Prince George, Quesnel, and Burns Lake, giving all its national and international students an option to transfer into the third year of their degree programs to any of the 10 universities of BC, Alberta, etc., with whom they have about 15 agreements.

Offering over 70 programs in business, university studies, trades and technologies, social services and health sciences, the College of New Caledonia has affordable tuition fee, small sizes of classes, hands-on and practical learning and provides a great place to learn to the students, making sure that they graduate with the skills they require for a successful, rewarding and a stable career.

College of New Caledonia - Prince George Admission Requirement

The following requirements must be fulfilled to get admitted to the College of New Caledonia

  • International students are considered on a case-by-case basis. There can be some additional requirements, depending on the program you are applying to.
  • Students are required to submit their original transcripts from their last attended academic institutions. If they are not in English, then submit the translated copies of the same along with the originals.
  • Should provide the certificate issued by the International Qualifications Assessment Service (IQAS) that compares educational credentials from other countries to educational standards in Canada.
  • Applicants must be 18 years old at the time of the beginning of the course.
  • You need to submit your English language proficiency test scores if you are coming from a non-English speaking country.

Please note: If you are not a Canadian citizen or a permanent resident of Canada, you must obtain a valid study permit before you come to Canada.
