Alexander College - Vancouver Campus Overview

Established in the year 2006, Alexander College is a private college with two campuses in British Columbia, one in Vancouver and one in Burnaby. With more than 2,000 students from over 50 countries in both the campuses, the college offers over 80 entry level university programs along with Associate of Arts degrees in a number of disciplines such as psychology, economics and others, English for academic purposes program as well as a number of university transfer programs. Along with the aforementioned programs, Alexander also provides its students a number of Pathway and Block transfer programs for its students. 

The Vancouver Campus is situated in the heart of downtown Vancouver, providing easy access to the students to shopping and entertainment options.  The small size of their classes ensures personal attention to every student.  The college also offers customized advising and academic planning to the students and individualized support in the Writing and Learning Centre along with giving the students a diverse, multicultural, vibrant and a global learning environment.

Alexander College - Vancouver Campus Admission Requirement

The following requirements must be fulfilled to get admitted to Alexander College

  • International students are considered on case-by-case basis. There can be some additional requirements, depending on the program you are applying to.
  • Students are required to submit their original transcripts from their last attended academic institutions. If they are not in English, then submit the translated copies of the same along with the originals.
  • Should provide the certificate issued by the International Qualifications Assessment Service (IQAS) that compares educational credentials from other countries to educational standards in Canada.
  • Applicants must be 18 years old at the time of the beginning of the course.
  • You need to submit your English language proficiency test scores if you are coming from a non-English speaking country. 

Please note: If you are not a Canadian citizen or a permanent resident of Canada, you must obtain a valid study permit before you come to Canada.
