It is an excellent choice for students who would like a little more support with their studies, or who do not meet the entry requirements for direct entry into a degree programme.

During the International Foundation Year your learning will be structured in the same way as University teaching. This ensures you receive excellent preparation for undergraduate study.

You also study mathematics, statistics and econometrics, gaining important quantitative skills. You progress to advanced issues such as trade, global imbalances and financial crises.

In Finance, you cover concepts such as discounting and bond pricing. There is an emphasis on financial markets and institutions. This includes a study of corporate finance and risk management.
