Biomedical science focuses on the understanding of human health and disease, to develop treatments that ultimately save and improve lives. This research-informed MSc Biomedical Science programme aligns to our research within our newly formed Plymouth Institute of Health and Care Research (replacing the Institute of Translational and Stratified Medicine – ITSMed).

Enabling students to broaden their theoretical knowledge, hone practical/clinical skills, and help support those who are particularly interested in pursuing research at postgraduate level
