Program Overview

Our MBA (Project Management) is a dynamic, contemporary and practical course designed to create project managers of the future.

We’re located in London's most exciting region for enterprise, between the major financial institutions of Canary Wharf and pioneering new businesses in Stratford and Shoreditch. We work with these institutions, from Bloomberg to Barclaycard, to bring you cutting-edge insight into the way contemporary businesses are run.

Our course is flexible and accessible. Full-time students attend during the day while part-time students attend during the evenings so you can tailor your attendance around your availability.

Everything on our MBA is geared towards your career development, ensuring you graduate with a clearer vision of your future; it's accredited by the Chartered Management Institute, so you can be sure you're learning the leadership skills that employers really need, and our expert staff have the depth of knowledge to turn your passion and ambition into a realisable goal.

Whether you want to work in senior management, business consultancy, or build your own enterprise, our MBA will give you the skills, inspiration and connections to achieve it.

WHAT YOU'LL LEARN

Build a thorough foundation in project management concepts, methods and techniques. Critically synthesise why and how businesses use projects to implement risky and complex solutions. Conceptualise and develop a critical appreciation of the role and attributes of the project manager and their part in contributing to organisational integration and beneficial change.

Examine and assess project risk factors and various approaches relevant to managing project stakeholder management. Develop critical thinking skills to evaluate the relevance of diverse business and management theories and concepts and apply these theories and concepts to various issues and contexts.

Subject-based practical skills will teach you to define and decompose a project work using project management tools (such as product and work breakdown structure, Gantt Charts, Network Diagrams etc) and create planning estimates. Contribute to the design and development of project budgeting and costing and ability to differentiate various projects based on novelty, pace, complexity and technology.

The programme will also offer you an optional placement year, enabling you to experience project management in the real world and effectively connect your university experience with it.
We consistently review and develop our courses and modules to ensure they are up-to-date with sector and industry graduate skills demands. Course structure, modules and options are subject to change.
