SCHOLARSHIPS UP TO £6,000 FOR EACH YEAR OF STUDY

For September 2025, we’re offering generous new scholarships to help you achieve your dream career.

• Undergraduate Subject-Specific Scholarships worth £6,000 per year off international fees for Art & Design, Fashion, Media and Comms, Psychology, English, Sport, Human Resource Management, Marketing and Criminology courses.
• Undergraduate Qualification-Specific Scholarships worth £3,000 per year off international fees for applicants with A Level, IB, Advanced Placements and HKDSE qualifications.
• Undergraduate Region-Specific Scholarships worth £3,000 per year off international fees For full details, visit beds.ac.uk/intfees.
• Postgraduate Global Merit Scholarship worth £3,000 off the total International tuition fees for the course.

Our International Undergraduate subject-specific scholarships are worth up to £6,000 off international tuition fees for each year of study (£18,000 in total). This would reduce the annual tuition fee to as low as £10,600 per year. Eligible courses include:

• All UG degree courses in the School of Sport Science and Physical Activity
• All UG degree courses in the School of Arts and Creative Industries
• All UG degree courses within the School of Psychology
• All UG degree English courses
• Childhood and Youth Studies BA
• Criminology and Sociology BSc
• Criminology BSc
• Human Resources Management BSc
• Human Resources Management with Law BSc
• Marketing BSc
• Social Policy and Social Research BSc

Students do not need to apply for these scholarships. Once they receive their offer for the relevant course, we will contact them to offer a short online interview to ensure eligibility.

We would also like to remind you of the wide range of alternative scholarships that your students may be eligible for:

• A level and IB Scholarship worth £3,000 off international tuition fees for each year of study.
• Undergraduate Country-Specific Scholarships worth £3,000 off international tuition fees for each year of study, for students from India, Pakistan, Bangladesh and Nepal.
• Undergraduate EU Qualifications Scholarship worth £4,500 off international tuition fees for each year of study.
• International Foundation Year Scholarship worth £1,000 off international tuition fees for January 2025 (an enhanced scholarship for Sept 2025 will be announced shortly).
• Postgraduate Global Merit Scholarship worth £3,000 off the total international tuition fees for the course.

UG scholarships

New subject-specific UG scholarships for Sept 2025 onwards.

Our International Undergraduate subject-specific scholarships are worth up to £6000 off international tuition fees for each year of study. To receive the award, the below criteria must be met. Applicants must be:

• Classed as International/Overseas fee-payer status. Home fee paying students are not eligible – scholarships for Home fee paying students can be found here.
• Be in receipt of an offer to study in first year (level 4) of an eligible undergraduate course at the University of Bedfordshire commencing in the 2025/26 academic year. Eligible courses include:
  • All Bachelor’s degree courses within the School of Sport Science and Physical Activity
  • All Bachelor’s degree courses within the School of Arts and Creative Industries
  • All Bachelor’s degree courses within the School of Psychology
  • All Bachelor’s degree English courses within the School of Education
  • Childhood and Youth Studies BA
  • Criminology and Sociology BSc
  • Criminology BSc
  • Human Resources Management BSc
  • Human Resources Management with Law BSc
  • Marketing BSc
  • Social Policy and Social Research BSc
• Applicants applying to enter level 3 (International Foundation Year), level 5 or 6 are not eligible. However, students progressing from the University of Bedfordshire International Foundation Year in the 2025/26 academic year will be eligible.
• Scholarship assessment will be via an online interview on Microsoft Teams.
• Students who are successful in being awarded this scholarship will not be eligible for any other scholarships or bursaries, but will be eligible for the prompt payment discounts on tuition fees.

Scholarship

Postgraduate Global Merit Scholarship

Our Postgraduate Global Merit Scholarship is worth £3000 off the total international tuition fees for the course. To receive the award, the below criteria must be met. Applicants must be:

• Classed as International/Overseas fee-payer status. Home fee paying students are not eligible
• Applying for a postgraduate course commencing in September 2024 only
• Achieve a minimum 75% GPA or equivalent. Where undergraduate awards are not expressed as a percentage, the equivalency will be calculated by the University.
• Students progressing from an Undergraduate course at the University of Bedfordshire are also eligible (but if successful in receiving this award, will then not be eligible for the Alumni discount or VC’s Scholarship).
• Students who are successful in being awarded this scholarship will not be eligible for any other scholarships or bursaries (including the Alumni discount), but will be eligible for the prompt payment discounts on tuition fees.

Vice Chancellor’s Scholarship

On all Master’s postgraduate degree courses, including MBA, international students not receiving any of our other scholarships will receive the Vice Chancellor’s Scholarship, which is a reduction of £1,000 off their first year’s fees. Students progressing from one of our undergraduate degrees to Master’s programmes will also be eligible for this award (see Alumni Discount below).

• Students who are successful in being awarded this scholarship will not be eligible for any other scholarships or bursaries, but will be eligible for the £500 prompt payment discount on tuition fees

High Achievers Undergraduate Scholarship for India

is worth £3000 off international tuition fees for each year of study. To receive the award, the below criteria must be met. Applicants must be:

• Classed as International/Overseas fee-payer status. Home fee paying students are not eligible.
• Achieve 75% or more in the Indian Year 12 exams
• Applying for the first year of an undergraduate course at level 4 (first year) commencing in September 2024 only (Applicants looking to enter at level 5 or 6 are not eligible as they would not be entering on the basis of an eligible qualification)
• Applicants for the International Foundation Year would not be eligible, but would receive the International Foundation Year Scholarship
• Students who are successful in being awarded the bursary will not be eligible for any other scholarships or bursaries, but will be eligible for the prompt payment discounts on tuition fees.

Prompt Payment Discount

• The tuition fee pre-payment of 65% will be calculated on the full, published tuition fees and will not take into account any scholarships, bursaries or awards. These will be applied to the remaining balance of your fees.
