Scholarships

Implications from 1^st April, if offer not accepted and/ or 260 GBP deposit not made today-

• 4000 GBP scholarship will be reduced to 1500 GBP
• 2000 GBP scholarship will be reduced to 0 GBP

Merit-based scholarships 
The University of Huddersfield – London recognises academic excellence by offering merit-based scholarships of up to £4,000 to international students across undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. 
 
Students are automatically considered for these scholarships when they apply, provided they meet the eligibility criteria. 
•    Undergraduate scholarships (no change) 
International undergraduate students may receive up to £4,000 per year of study, based on academic performance. 
   

•    Postgraduate scholarships (changing from 1st April 2026) 
Updated scholarship detail as below will apply to students confirming from this date onward. 

Early Payment Discount for undergraduates only 
•       A £500 discount is available to undergraduate students who pay their full tuition fee deposit by 31st May 2026 for the September 2026 intake.

Study Under Graduate Course in the Hub of London – Huddersfield University London for September 2026

Tuition Fee starts from £13,600/Annum after Scholarship 

• 3 years full-time, or 4 years including Placement Year
• Students choosing Placement Year are required to pay £3,300 ONLY

Guaranteed Scholarships for the First Year of UG

• £2,000 – 65% in Class 12 
• £4,000 -  80% in Class 12 

Progression Scholarships for the 2nd and 3rd Year -Available subject to maintain grades in the previous years

Merit-based scholarship

At the University of Huddersfield - London, we recognise academic excellence by offering a merit-based scholarship of up to £4,000 to international students for a range of undergraduate and postgraduate courses.

Just apply to study at the University as normal and you will automatically be considered if you meet the eligibility criteria.

Scholarship for UG

For international undergraduate students, you could be awarded up to £4,000 for every year of your course, based on your academic achievements. 

Scholarship for PG

Scholarships of up to £4,000 are awarded to international students applying for taught postgraduate courses, based on their academic achievements. 

Are you Eligible ? 

To be eligible for our merit-based scholarship you must:

• Be an international fee-paying student.
• Be applying for a full-time taught undergraduate or postgraduate course.
• Be fully self-funding your studies, this means you are not receiving any funding for your studies.
• For postgraduate, you must have achieved a minimum 2.2 or equivalent in your undergraduate degree and must meet the English and academic entry requirements for your course.

Conditions:

Students will be notified in their offer letter if they have been awarded a scholarship.

Eligible international students will be awarded the scholarship for every year of their course, excluding their placement year.

This scholarship will not be awarded alongside any other University or external scholarships.

Exclusions include:

Applicants with refugee, asylum-seeker status or indefinite leave to remain in the UK are not eligible.
