International Year One in Business Management
The International Year One in Business Management at Leeds International Study Centre allows you to directly join the second year of your undergraduate degree at Leeds Beckett University. Designed to improve your English language and academic skills to an appropriate level for degree study, the programme is equivalent to the first year of an undergraduate degree and will prepare you for success as you study in the UK and beyond.

WHY STUDY THE INTERNATIONAL YEAR ONE? 
The International Year One is perfect for students who feel ready to join the second year of their undergraduate degree, but either do not meet the UK entry requirements or would like a softer transition to the UK education system. 

When you begin your degree study with this programme, you will benefit from: 

  • Modules based on your academic subject 
  • Additional English language modules designed for university study 
  • Academic study skills development 
  • Guidance from expert staff who are experienced in teaching international students 
  • Smaller class sizes as part of a friendly, multicultural student community 
  • Help transitioning to the UK education system. 

Once you complete the International Year One in Business Management, and achieve the required grades. you will have the opportunity to progress to the second year of your undergraduate degree at Leeds Beckett University.
