International Foundation Year in Business, Economics, Accounting and Finance
The International Foundation Year prepares you for university with English language and study skills practice, as well as subject-specific teaching. When you complete the programme, you will progress to the first year of your undergraduate degree. This pathway allows you to progress to degrees in subjects including accounting, business management, financial mathematics and many more. You choose a route depending on which undergraduate degree you plan to study. There are three routes: Accounting and Finance, Business, and Economics. Which route you choose impacts the modules you will study.
Leading to: Banking and Finance BSc (Econ)
Professionals with the tools and techniques to anticipate financial market behaviour are central to the success of contemporary banking and finance sector organisations. So you’ll be in high demand for roles in the public, private and third sectors with competitive salaries and excellent prospects for career progression.
Our BSc Econ Banking and Finance is designed to equip you with practical skills and professional confidence for a successful career in investment, banking and finance or in preparation for postgraduate study and research.
You’ll work with our team of international researchers and finance professionals to apply micro and macroeconomic theory in financial contexts. They’ll introduce you to ethical issues and dilemmas in business while encouraging you to consider the social, economic and environmental implications of your professional behaviour.
