Undergraduate Pathway in Engineering is designed to allow international students to reach their full potential and realise their ambitions on an Engineering course at Robert Gordon University.
As the energy capital of Europe, Aberdeen is the perfect city in which to pursue a degree in Engineering. Robert Gordon University has fantastic links with the local energy industry and students can take advantage of the expertise, knowledge and work experience opportunities available within the city.

Leading  to Bachelor of Engineering (Hons) in Mechanical and Offshore Engineering

Robert Gordon University offers a BEng (Hons) in Mechanical and Offshore Engineering. This course will provide you with the ability to work methodically and logically to solve real-word problems. You will be equipped with the knowledge and skills to manage challenges and conflicting requirements for a successful and rewarding career.

The course has an international focus where you will gain knowledge in oil and gas exploration and recovery, platform design, pipelines, down-hole instrumentation and energy transformation.

The first two years are common across our Mechanical Engineering courses. At the end of Year 2, you can make an informed decision about which route you wish to take.
