Program Overview

Pre-Master's – develop your study and research skills and academic knowledge in preparation for postgraduate study. Select UK centers offer flexible course lengths to suit different English language levels. This program is known as Master's Preparation at INTO Manchester.

Prepare for direct entry to a range of postgraduate degrees at the University of East Anglia's Norwich Business School, School of Economics, School of Education, School of International Development, and School of Politics, Philosophy, Language and Communication Studies.

Leading to:- Master of Arts in Conflict, Governance and Global Development

Gain comprehensive knowledge in global political development and equip yourself with the necessary skills to navigate this highly relevant research area. 

On our MA Conflict, Governance and Global Development course, you’ll critically assess the political development goals of sustainable peace, good governance and stable democracy.  

Throughout this one-year full-time programme, you'll draw on different theoretical approaches and explore a diverse set of empirical examples to deepen your understanding. You’ll be challenged to consider alternative suggestions for establishing peace and inclusive, durable democracies.  

Key topics will include the global state of democracy in the early 21st century; the political, social and economic effects of different political regimes and institutions; and the complex dynamics of violent conflict.

    Scholarships

    Scholarship for Sep2026 Intake 

    £10,000 Progression Scholarship for international students progressing to selected undergraduate degree programmes in the fields of Engineering, Physics, and Environmental Sciences.

    The scholarship will be awarded automatically with no separate application required and is available for each year of study. This means eligible students could benefit from savings of up to £30,000 across the duration of their study plan when progressing to UEA.
