Prepare for direct entry to Year 1 of an undergraduate degree in Architecture at Newcastle University.

Key Information

  • Study a design-led course covering key aspects of architecture with an emphasis on space, materiality and aesthetic qualities.
  • Expand your skills and knowledge through hands-on projects and tasks, including two to three dimensions, sketching and drawing techniques and constructing models.
  • Learn how to research, analyse and present your work effectively.
  • Gain practical experience in our specialist architecture studio and through field trips.
  • Upon successful completion of this programme, you will be awarded our International Foundation Certificate (RQF Level 3).

Study physics in the natural universe with the guidance of our world-leading academics.

During your three-year Physics BSc, you’ll study:

  • relativity
  • quantum mechanics
  • particle physics
  • physics in emerging technologies
  • laboratory and professional skills in physics

You’ll also gain hands-on experience in our high-spec facilities. You'll develop the practical skills needed for a career in physics.

By the end of your degree, you’ll have a strong understanding of physics and advanced mathematics. You'll be prepared for a range of careers in research, industry, and beyond.
