Program Overview
Start your career as a children's nurse with a Child Nursing degree from Canterbury Christ Church University. You'll care for children and their families, placing their wellbeing at the centre of everything you do and undertake a learning journey at the end of which you'll be eligible for registration with the NMC (Nursing and Midwifery Council).
Throughout the first year you'll study alongside students from the other fields of nursing, ensuring you gain invaluable interdisciplinary experience. You will also develop key skills and behaviours such as compassion and critical thinking.
Years two and three will focus on your chosen field of Child Nursing, ensuring you become a professional and competent newly qualified nurse. Throughout, both simulated and real-world practice will be a cornerstone of your child nursing studies.
