Program Overview

Accredited by the GPhC, this course is designed to give you the clinical, practical, and professional skills needed to kickstart your career as a pharmacist. After graduation, you’ll complete a one-year Foundation Training Year to become a registered pharmacist and independent prescriber.

Pharmacists are essential members of the healthcare team, ensuring the safe, effective, and ethical use of medications. As a pharmacist, you’ll advise patients and the public on how to use medicines safely, monitor for side effects, and support the management of both acute and long-term health conditions.

Accredited by the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC), our course offers the professional, clinical, and practical skills you need to succeed as a pharmacist. With hands-on experience in our state-of-the-art facilities, including clinical simulation suites and a hospital ward, you'll be fully prepared for your Foundation Training Year and a career as a registered pharmacist and independent prescriber.

Placements are a mandatory part of the course, giving you valuable hands-on experience in diverse pharmacy settings. You'll apply your knowledge in real-world situations under the guidance of experienced professionals.
