Along the way, you’ll develop the core skills you need to excel in all kinds of businesses and start to build a clear picture of exactly where those skills could take you.

We capitalize on our enviable location in the World Heritage City of Bath, the heartland of cultural festivals and events, close to both Glastonbury and Bristol.

We’ll help you develop as a person to achieve your potential by teaching you about festivals and events and how they work. You’ll graduate with potential for employment in different businesses; this could be an organization, the private or public sector, a charity or possibly your own business. We aim to give you the skills to apply your knowledge in a wide range of situations in any sector.

Following our festivals and events pathway, you’ll develop specialist skills. As the course progresses you’ll have the opportunity to set up your own festival or event.

You can also bring in modules from areas outside the festivals and events pathway if you want to explore issues around a particular ‘theme’, such as sustainability or global affairs.

Professional Placement Year

This optional placement year provides you with the opportunity to identify, apply for, and secure professional experience, normally comprising one to three placements over a minimum of nine months. Successful completion of this module will demonstrate your ability to secure and sustain graduate-level employment.
