If you have completed either an undergraduate-level academic Bachelors degree, a graduate degree, or their recognized academic equivalents at the time of application to uLethbridge, and are seeking to broaden your academic business knowledge or change career directions via a non-graduate level program, then the Dhillon School of Business' condensed BBA as a Second Degree program, might be the one for you. This particular iteration of the BBA baccalaureate will range between 15-25 courses in duration (will vary, depending on the student's background coming into the university) to which the exact number will be determined by an Academic Advisor AFTER successful program admittance (never beforehand).


All successfully admitted BBA as a Second Degree students will be given up to a maximum of 10 years to graduate from their program, following their first semester of study.

Academic Requirement

Minimum Level of Education Required: To be accepted into this program, applicants must have one of the following:

  • completed bachelor's degree (min. 90.0 credits),
  • a graduate degree (Master's or PhD), or their recognized equivalents in any area with a minimum CGPA of 2.00 (on a 4.0 scale).


Prior bachelor's degrees cannot be

  • Another Canadian BBA, BComm, or BMgt, due to duplication
  • An Applied, Technology, or Trade Skills Degree
    • Considered to be comparably similar to a college diploma, to which such applicants will in-turn be considered for reassessment into the post-diploma degree instead (admittance not guaranteed)

Scholarships

The university offers a $500-$6000 range of scholarships, which students need to apply for directly from their Bridge Portal account after receiving the offer letter. The Bridge account will reflect various rewards as per the category; the student himself needs to choose the appropriate category to apply to.


Students can get scholarships as per the below range, but they will apply as per the following:

  • 60–70% of students can get the scholarship in the range of $500–$700.
  • 70–75% of students can get the scholarship in the range of $700–$1000.
  • 75–85% of students can get a scholarship in the range of $1500

Note: Students cannot apply for scholarships with their predicted scores.
