The ECE – Intensive program is of particular interest to those returning to a second career educating children or for those who have international credentials not currently recognized as equivalent to ECE.

Roles and responsibilities of the early childhood educator
Curriculum theory and approaches
Programming for infants, toddlers, preschoolers and school-age children
Professionalism and advocacy in early childhood education
Field placements
You'll have the chance to transfer your learning into practice by completing two different field placements in a variety of settings which may include Sheridan's highly acclaimed childcare centres, before and after school care, kindergarten classrooms or other early learning settings.

State-of-the-art education
You'll learn from our highly qualified professors who have strong academic backgrounds and extensive experience working with young children, their families and the community.
