Project management is a highly valued discipline, with demand increasing for individuals with project management skills in the Australian workforce1. This degree uses A Guide to the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBoK® Guide) as a learning framework. It is the international standard practice and approach to project management that can be applied across different industries, businesses and government institutions.
What you'll learn
The program will deliver industry relevant material created through consultation with practitioners and industry governing bodies like the Australian Institute of Project Management (AIPM).
Over the course you will:
- Establish a project and prepare project plans to meet objectives and requirements,
- Lead projects from inception to commissioning,
- Learn how to use appropriate management tools for project monitoring and analysis,
- Gain knowledge in effective project management tools and techniques, current trends and contemporary knowledge such as sustainability, agile and tailoring based approaches to solve complex project problems creatively
- Complete a practical research project that can focus on an issue within your workplace.

Scholarships
Vice Chancellor’S International Excellence Scholarship
Overview:
- Recipients receive a 50% reduction in their student contributions (tuition fees) for up to four years of full-time study.
- Students who meet the eligibility criteria are invited to complete a Scholarship application form and include this with their UniSA application.
- Eligible students who have not provided a completed Scholarship application will be invited to apply at the point of University entry assessment (assuming scholarship places are still available).
Scholarship Criteria:
- Be a prospective international student.
- Be eligible to study in Australia.
- Not have accepted any other UniSA scholarship or bursary.
- Have achieved the UniSA equivalent of a High Distinction average in previous studies.
- Meet the minimum English language entry requirements for the program applied into.
- Meet normal program admission requirements for the program applied into.
