They act as an alternative entry pathway for admission to UC undergraduate courses and prepare you for university study.

Unleash your creativity and innovation with our Diploma of Design. Created for those seeking a pathway to a Design degree, this course will introduce you to the fundamentals of design thinking, processes, tools and technology. At the end of this course, you'll be able to apply to the faculty of Arts and Design's suite of design degrees, from which you can hone-in on any the design field of your choice. 

Study our Diploma of Design at UC and you will:

On successful completion of the Diploma of Design, you’ll receive up to 24 credit points (one year) of advanced standing into the second year of the following Bachelor of the Built Environment (Architecture) at the University of Canberra.

A feature of the course includes engaging with leading design professionals and industry practitioners to gain valuable real-world architectural experience by delivering a series of ‘live’ projects. Internships at local, national and international architecture firms are also promoted.
