A student's time at BCIT is filled with a wide range of activities, from hard work to fun and unlimited job options to cultural awareness. BCIT has provided career-oriented education to graduates for over forty years and is now British Columbia's largest post-secondary institute.

BCIT presently has five main campuses to choose from. Training, education, and research efforts in South America, Central America, East Asia, and Eastern Europe are part of its global alliance.

Some of the reasons to study at BCIT are:

Programs offered
The British Columbia Institute of Technology is one of the province's largest post-secondary institutions, offering degrees, diplomas, and certificates in Applied and Natural Sciences, Business and Media, Computing and Information Technology, Engineering, Health Sciences, and Trades, among other fields.

BCIT provides a wide range of programmes leading to certifications, diplomas, degrees, and master's degrees for international students. Students will get the same internationally recognized credentials whether they study in a Full-time Program or a Part-time Program delivery format.

Faculty and staff
For their students, the institute provides a caring staff as well as recreation services. Leadership initiatives, student groups, competitions, and events provide an opportunity for students to broaden their experience and professional preparation. There are several support services available to students, ranging from personal and social to academic and cultural.

The Downtown Campus is home to the state-of-the-art Technology Education and Collaboration Hub, an innovative IT learning environment located in the heart of Vancouver's commercial and tech hub.

Relevant Curriculum
The curriculum is established in close collaboration with industry, guaranteeing students' readiness in the corporate world after graduation.

BCIT provides international opportunities for students, professors, and staff to explore the world through its international links. Field schools, student exchanges, academic collaboration and cooperative research, student ambassadorships, and industry internships are examples of international options. These outbound activities improve our students' job competitiveness while also providing professional development opportunities for our academic members.

Face to face workshops for students
The following workshops are for students and student leaders on our campus who are dealing with an increasing number of diverse teams and international and newcomer students. The fundamental workshops and targeted follow-up sessions aim to provide students more tools to better engage at BCIT's many multicultural intersections.

Building a better world
Internationalization and cultural diversity are critical components of our goal for BCIT's educational future. Graduates of BCIT College apply their worldwide knowledge and skills in the workplace, assisting in creating a better society.

Small Classes
Students benefit from greater one-on-one attention from their professors and more opportunity to network with other students in their program when class sizes are small.

Hands on experience
BCIT is known for its practical hands-on program delivery, highly qualified professors, strong industry contacts, and high-capability graduates who are ready to flourish in their careers.

The leadership team at BCIT is working to ensure that the college achieves its goal of providing high-quality education that prepares students for meaningful, future-proof professions.
