1. Northwest International Achievement Scholarship (NIAS) Criteria:
International new freshmen: 2.75+ high school GPA
International transfer students: 2.75+ GPA with ≥24 transferable credits (or based on freshman criteria if <24 credits)
Renewal: 3.00 Northwest GPA + 24 credit hrs/year; max 132 Northwest credit hours

2. Northwest Academic Merit Scholarships
(Mutually exclusive: Provost, Dean’s, Distinguished, Academic Excellence, University Scholar, Northwest Merit)
Criteria: Based on SAT/ACT score and high school GPA
(e.g., 3.95+ GPA + 30-36 ACT = $6,000; 2.75-2.99 GPA = $1,000-$1,500)
Renewal: Not specified (merit-based, varies by level)

3. General Requirements (All Transfer Scholarships):
Must have at least 24 transferable credit hours
Must enroll full-time (fall, spring, summer eligible)
Renewable for up to 3 consecutive academic years
Require completion of 24 credit hours per academic year at Northwest
Transfer Merit Scholarship GPA Requirement: 3.00 – 3.29 (transferable GPA)
Renewal Criteria: 3.30 Northwest cumulative GPA
Transfer Academic Scholarship GPA Requirement: 3.30 – 3.49
Renewal Criteria: 3.30 Northwest cumulative GPA
Transfer Distinguished Scholarship GPA Requirement: 3.50 – 4.00
Renewal Criteria: 3.50 Northwest cumulative GPA

4. International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Scholarship Criteria: First-time freshmen, admitted by May 1, confirmed IB Diploma
Renewal: Nonrenewable
Note: Only 20 awards available; can be stacked with other automatic scholarships

Graduate Scholarships [G]
1. CS/IS International Graduate Achievement Scholarship Criteria:
High academic achievement
Full admission to on-campus graduate program in Computer Science/Information Systems
Renewal: Nonrenewable
Note: Automatic; not for conditional/online students or other programs

2. Northwest Academic Merit Scholarships Amount: Ranges from $1,000 to $6,000

3. Transfer Merit Scholarship Award Amount: $1,000 (first year), renews to $500
