Our Dunedin and Central Otago campuses cater to both domestic and international students, while our Auckland campus is dedicated to international students. Our Central Otago campus is in Cromwell, a growing town surrounded by rugged landscapes, lakes, vineyards and orchards. The programmes we offer are tailor-made for the location, giving you study options such as snowsports, outdoor adventure, apiculture, horticulture, cookery with a regional focus, and stonemasonry using the schist that this region is built on. We even have a state-of-the-art teaching brewery if you fancy yourself as a craft brewer.

Otago Polytechnic - Central Otago Campus Admission Requirement

The following requirements must be fulfilled to get admitted to the Otago Polytechnic.

  • International students are considered on a case-by-case basis. There can be some additional requirements, depending on the program you are applying to.
  • Students are required to submit their original transcripts from their last attended academic institutions. If they are not in English, then submit the translated copies of the same along with the originals.
  • Applicants must be 18 years old at the time of the beginning of the course.
  • You need to submit your English language proficiency test scores if you are coming from a non-English speaking country.

Please note: If you are not a New Zealand citizen or a permanent resident of  New Zealand, you must obtain a valid study permit before you come to New Zealand.
