Sprott Shaw College - New Westminster College Campus Overview

Sprott Shaw College was founded more than 100 years ago by Robert James Sprott and William Henry Shaw and to date has been faithful to its vision of offering the right programs to students to develop the skills they require for a prosperous future. The college provides relevant and accredited training and education to its national and international students and guides them towards work-force expectations through an accurate role modeling.

Sprott Shaw College believes in a dynamic, innovative and a creative learning environment that encompasses multicultural communities and their uniqueness and wishes to be an active and a collaborative partner in the local communities it is a part of. They mutually respect all individuals and races and embrace a modern approach towards education. Sprott Shaw College has tutors who are experts in their respective fields, and they make sure to equip the students with the abilities required to enter and prosper in their chosen areas of interest.

Welcome to the Sprott Shaw New Westminster College Campus! For 26 years, the New Westminster campus has been proudly serving the community with a convenient location close to buses and minutes away from the SkyTrain station.

Our focus remains on providing effective training in high growth employments for our students where they go on to pursue careers as Practical Nurses, Health Care Assistants, Early Childhood Educators, Community Support Workers, Business Managers, Administrative Assistants, and Payroll Administrators.

This campus is also twice the winner of the Provincial Satisfaction Award and the recipient of the 2009 Chamber of Commerce New Westminster Business Excellence Award. Apart from the rewards won, this campus has one of the highest student referrals and one of the lowest attrition rates in British Columbia.
