The Master of Science in Computing Sciences prepares the next generation of technology specialists to thrive in a rapidly changing world. Learn from and work with faculty having expertise in a variety of contemporary technology topics. Graduates will be prepared for career advancement in a range of areas within the discipline.

Students build foundational skills through a coherent set of courses in programming, information systems, and security. They may hone and apply skills by taking specialized courses in areas like Cybersecurity, Human Computer Interaction, and Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning. Our program offers options to pursue either a practicum or a deeper research investigation through a thesis depending on post-graduation objectives.

International Scholarships

First-Year International Scholarships

All accepted first-year international applicants are guaranteed $7,500 in scholarships (Empire + Green).

Additionally, International students will be automatically considered for our Gold + Empire awards and/or recommendation to our Honors program. On-campus residency is required. Scholarships are merit-based and not applicable for athletes.

Honors/Prometheus Award	$6,000 (renewable for 4 years) + campus parking pass	Students accepted to Honors College. Separate application required. Fall start only. Stackable with Empire scholarship.

Transfer International Scholarships

Brockport also awards transfer scholarships designed for students who come to Brockport after completing a minimum of 24 college credits at another College or University. These awards are competitive and reviewed following a student’s admission to Brockport.
