The Bachelor of Science in Quantitative Economics (BSQE) is the major of choice for anyone seeking to pursue a graduate degree in Economics. The major provides intensive training for jobs that require quantitative skills. The curriculum combines both economic and mathematics proficiencies in policy considerations. Students who do well in this program may be considered for the department’s master’s degree. If students meet the requirements for consideration to apply for PSU's master's program, up to 15 credits of economics electives numbered 500 and above may be taken by BSQE students. This satisfies both undergraduate and graduate credit.
