The School of Nuclear Science and Engineering offers graduate work leading toward the Master of Engineering, Master of Science, and Doctor of Philosophy degrees in Nuclear Engineering.

The nuclear engineering graduate degree is designed to prepare students for careers involved with the many beneficial applications of nuclear energy, radiation, and radioactive materials.     matriculation to OSU if students meet the following eligibility requirements:
    • Achieve a minimum GPA 3.5 in International Direct, International Year One or
    Undergraduate Transfer Program to qualify for $3,000 per year
    • Achieve a minimum GPA 3.75 in International Direct, International Year One or
    Undergraduate Transfer Program to qualify for $5,000 per year
    • Maintain consecutive enrollment at OSU as a full time degree seeking student in an
    approved undergraduate program
    • Renewable as long as student remains in good academic standing, maintaining a
    GPA 3.5+
    • Can not be combined with Regional Award or Provost Scholarship for Excellence.

    Graduate Scholarships:
    Regional scholarship
    • Limited availability: first come, first served
    • Personal statement or scholarship interview may be required for some regions

    Continued Success Scholarship
    • Successful completion of first term of Master’s International Direct or successful
    matriculation to OSU from Graduate Pathway
    • Achieve a minimum GPA 3.5 in all coursework taken during Graduate Pathway or
    Master’s International Direct to qualify for $3,000 per year
    • Achieve a minimum GPA 3.75 in all coursework taken during Graduate Pathway or
    Master’s International Direct to qualify for $5,000 per year
    • Maintain consecutive enrollment at OSU as a full time degree seeking student in an
    approved graduate program
    • Renewable as long as student remains in good academic standing, maintaining a
    GPA 3.5+
    • Can not be combined with graduate tuition remission or OSU assistantships
    Undergraduate scholarships:
    Provost's Scholarships for Excellence-Up to $24,000 ($6,000 per year)
    Regional scholarship-Up to $8,000 (Up to $8,000 during the first year (one-time reward))
    Regional award-Up to $64,000 ($8,000 - $16,000 per year)
    Continued Success Scholarship-Up to $15,000 ($3,000 - $5,000 per year)

    Graduate Scholarships:
    Regional scholarship-Up to $7,500 (Up to $7,500 during the first year (one-time reward))
    Continued Success Scholarship-Up to $10,000 ($3,000-$5,000 per year) Available year 2-4
