Program Overview

Cinematic Arts and Technology is a hands-on program that prepares you for careers in film, broadcast, and interactive media across commercial, independent, and community sectors.

You will create narrative, documentary, interactive, and experimental media in a variety of collaborative, independent, and cross-disciplinary projects. Major coursework will help you to develop skills and experience in all facets of media-making, including: directing, writing, producing, editing, sound design, visual design, animation, motion graphics, interaction design, and mobile media.

    Scholarships

    CSU International Programs Scholarship Opportunities are available through the California State University International Programs office, and come in a variety of forms.

    CSUIP Scholarships: Made possible through the generosity of former CSUIP participants. Scholarships of $500 are available to students accepted into any of the IP programs. The scholarship is awarded based on scholastic merit and financial need.

    International F-1 degree-seeking students may be eligible for the International Student Non-Resident Fee Waiver. The primary purpose of the waiver is to recognize international students who display exceptional scholastic achievements and dedication. Recipients of this award receive a full waiver of the non-resident fee portion of their tuition, between $7,900 and $14,250 depending on the number of units taken. These awards are competitive and a small percentage of applicants will receive the scholarships. Students must reapply every year to be considered for the International Student Non-Resident Fee Waiver again.
