International Foundation Year in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics
Studying our Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics programme will prepare you for a degree across a range of exciting areas, including biochemistry, civil and infrastructure engineering and mathematics. By the time you finish the programme, you will have had the necessary specialist English language, study skills and subject specific tuition to prepare you for an undergraduate degree.

Many of the progression degrees include work placements and the opportunity to study abroad, for the same fee as a traditional degree. Combining academic study with professional experience will give you the skills and confidence you need to succeed in your chosen career.

What you'll study

During your Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics International Foundation Year you will study the following modules:

  • Core Computing
  • Core Physics
  • Academic English Skills
  • Pure Maths

Once you have successfully completed the programme, and achieved the required grades, you will be well-equipped to start your undergraduate degree at Kingston University London.

Leading to: Pharmacology BSc (Hons)
This course is taught by award-winning experts with a focus on biological and physiological processes, rather than chemical ones. We'll examine how drugs act on their targets in major organs and systems, and how the body reacts.

You'll study the treatment of infectious and non-infectious diseases, such as cancer, diabetes, asthma, and cardiovascular disease. You'll also have opportunities to learn about new drugs affecting the brain, treating epilepsy and depression, and how drugs influence addiction.
