Program Overview

If you enjoy working with colour and materials as well as researching and innovating then our BA (Hons) Textiles degree course at UCA Epsom is a dynamic and timely choice as consumer appetite for sustainably made products continues to rise.

There are three main subjects to our course in sustainable textiles – Material Making/Bio-fabrication, Eco Dye, Print and Surface, and Constructed Textiles – all of which have the thread of sustainability, colour and materials running through them.

Please note - this course was previously BA (Hons) Textile Design at UCA Farnham. If you already have credits from another university, or if you have work experience to an equivalent level, you can apply to enter directly into year 2 of the course at UCA Farnham.

You’ll learn in analogue and digital ways, using the latest technologies alongside traditional methods, and be able to choose between gaining broad, multi-disciplinary skills or studying a specific discipline – whatever you feel you need to do to gain the career you want.

    Creative Development Scholarship*

    Criteria of Award :  £3000 fee deduction for the first year for applicants from India, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Nepal or Bhutan. £4500 fee reduction for the first year for applicants from Vietnam, Egypt, Indonesia, Philippines, Singapore, Cambodia, Laos, Malaysia, Thailand, Myanmar, Brunei or Timor-Leste. First year tuition fees paid in full before CAS issuance.
